Morning Hunting Trip

Published by Borneo under , , , , on 8:46 PM

My uncle ever encounter this type of thing, here’s his story.

Once he went haunting in the jungle and the time was around 3 in the morning. While haunting, he heard something that he thought was a wild boar so he shot it. But suddenly a different sound appeared .It was the sound of a chicken clucking…

Well, at first he thought it was just a Wild Bird. So he didn't care. Suddenly the clucking sound gets louder and louder. Suddenly the "thing" laughed..!!!! It went high up into the skies. That "thing" was chasing him..!!!!! Suddenly the weather becomes bad and foggy. So he just ran until it can't get him... and he managed to escape.

The next day he fell sick. A very mysterious sickness even the doctor doesn’t know what causes it. He was sick for 2 weeks but luckily he turn out fine and was able to went on with his normal life.

(In our village, there are two types of ghost that is the most notorious: 1.Pontianak 2.Kokler *kokler is a vampire like the Pontianak except before it makes a big laughter, it will make a sound of chicken clucking and this ghost doesn't attacks pregnant women but instead it attacks males and it will take their genitals)

When I was a kid about 5 or 6 years old, my late grandma used to warn us about this ghost "kokler". I used to laugh because of its funny name. Never thought that this ghost exists till I read this story. Anyway, my grandma obviously had good reason to warn her grandkids. You see, we were staying in Kampung Astana lama where the surrounding area was surrounded by deep valleys. The land on which our house was built was surrounded with deep valleys with holes, excellent hiding place for this creature. My brothers and sisters had harrowing tales of their encounters with this ghost. Anyway, now the whole area was developed but we've moved years before that.
