Ghost Story from the Land of the Head Hunters

Riam Bus Stop

Published by Borneo under , , on 9:41 AM

This story is from a friend that used to study at Curtin University while it was located at their old campus at Riam Road.

Uni life is quite fun, meeting new friends and partying most of the time. One day after a drinking session, he was returning after midnight, passing by the Riam Chinese Cemetery. If you are a Mirian, you should know that the cemetery is quite a big site and the road passing by it is really dark and deserted especially at night. Most prefer to take the longer route through the highway instead.

While passing by the cemetery, he saw a girl waiting at the bus stop that is directly opposite the cemetery. Being curious on who is waiting for the bus so early in the morning, he decided to slow down to have a look. He saw a lady in white, long hair but he just couldn’t see the face. The lady then stood up, but she had no feet..and was floating toward him. He sped of immediately.

Not sure if the bus stop is still there, but better not take that route when you are alone at night. Or the lady may just hitch a ride with you……..
